Alex Gross writes in third person.
He's a customer-driven product manager, entrepreneur, business philosopher, and Mobile Development Strategist. He's lived in Arizona, Florida, Utah and Oregon with extended studies abroad in Spain and Costa Rica. He's an avid traveler, having visited 6 continents and 30 countries, with the goal of going to every country in the world before the age of 50.
Alex earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of Oregon, a Certification in Digital Marketing Strategy from Portland State University and learned Web Development at Epicodus in downtown Portland. Alex has founded 4 companies, 2 of which were pivots, 1 failure and 1 sold. In his latest business, Alex directed the strategy, design and development of 12+ apps as Co-Founder and Director of Mobile Development, guiding clients ranging from small business entrepreneurs to multi-national corporations.
In early 2016, Alex sold his ownership in Chamber DS and is now traveling, exploring the future of Mobile / Virtual Reality, and expanding his business knowledge with Seth Godin's altMBA program and Stanford University's Business Executive Education Programs. He also continues to consult for select Mobile and Web Development Projects at App Actual, providing holistic business and mobile development strategies and execution on rapid digital prototypes. He currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon.
